One Wood Cutter, One Day, Six Old Growth Juniper Cut, One Cord of Wood, Five Dollars to the Modoc National Forest.

This illegal wood cutting site has been active for at least five years. There is now a well developed road about 1.5 miles into what is left of these old growth juniper stands. Most of the old trees here are now gone. We pointed this site out to the MNF Supervisor in August 2011. We first pointed it out to the MNF in 2007.
